| This event marks the 20th anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. Organised by the Childwatch International Research Network, the African Child Policy Forum and UNICEF Innocenti Research Centre, in collaboration with the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child, the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child, the Comparative Research Programme on Poverty (CROP), and others. Children's Rights at a Cross-Roads is an event where policymakers, development agencies, NGOs, academics and young people will engage in reflection and dialogue for a better and more relevant knowledgebase for future child rights strategies.
