The Australian Research Alliance for Children and Youth (ARACY)
is proud to be a major sponsor of
this edition of Youth Studies Australia, focusing on the theme of youth mental
health.
We
understand that without a collaborative approach to youth
mental health we cannot find solutions to this complex
issue that is having a devastating impact on so many of
our young people.
Led
by Executive Director Professor Fiona Stanley, 2003 Australian
of the Year, ARACY’s vision is to unite those who are
passionate about the wellbeing of Australia’s children
and young people and encourage them to work collaboratively,
in new ways, to develop innovative solutions to the problems
affecting the health, development and wellbeing of young
Australians. ARACY is also a major supporter of The 5th Australian
and New Zealand Adolescent Health Conference in Sydney, 13
to 15 November 2006. Join us there or visit our web site
at www.aracy.org.au now to find out what you can do to support
ARACY’s work.
OUR MISSION
To enhance the wellbeing
and life chances of children and young people through the establishment
of new collaborations across disciplines and sectors for the
development and application of useful knowledge.
