Information for this study comes from a review of relevant Australian and international research, an analysis of available statistical data, a review of youth enterprise and small business promotion programs, a postal survey of self-employed young men and women, and interviews with over 100 self-employed young people. It includes a listing of resource agencies to help young people to explore and enter self-employment.
